Event Types & Recurrence
Two base types
- Standard Event – Year-round active base text (timeframe 01.01.2000 – 31.12.2099). Every product has exactly one Standard Event.
- Seasonal Events – Time-limited (e.g. Carnival, Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Advent/Christmas).
When a seasonal event is active, its texts are shown on Amazon instead of the Standard texts.
Recurrence types (in the event modal)
| Type | Description in the tool |
|---|---|
| No recurrence / One-time | Fixed event date, occurs once |
| Annually on the same date | Repeats every year on the same dates (e.g. Christmas Nov 15 – Dec 26) |
| Moveable events | e.g. Easter, Carnival – the date shifts each year (calculated automatically) |
| Periodic | Weekly, monthly, etc. – repeats at an interval |
Status badges in the event list
- Standard (gray badge) – the Standard Event of a product
- Active (green badge) – currently running
- Planned (cyan badge) – starts in the future
- Past – has ended
Info: The available periods for "Periodic" are managed in Settings → Recurrence Periods. There you can also create new periods with their own lead time.
