Event Overlaps
When two events overlap in time and share common products, Octuno detects this automatically and shows a warning on the dashboard.
How to open
In the Events area you'll find two tabs: "Events" (list) and "Overlaps" (with an info icon). The Overlaps tab shows all current and future conflicts as individual cards.
Filters
At the top: Search eventsβ¦, Events (dropdown), Products (dropdown), Γ Reset filters.
Structure of an overlap card
- Event badges (e.g. "Easter Γ Advent/Christmas") β each with an edit icon for adjusting the event directly
- OVERLAP PERIOD β the exact start and end date + number of days (e.g. 01.11.2026 β 28.12.2026 (57 days))
- Listing priority text β describes the current configuration (e.g. "Easter is shown for the entire overlap period Β· Advent/Christmas is not shown")
- Slider β with both events at the ends (e.g. "Easter ββββ Easter only"). Controls when it switches from one event to the other.
- "X common products" β expandable to show the affected products
Default behavior
When nothing is configured manually: The first event takes priority and is shown for the entire overlap period. The slider then sits at the endpoint "Only [Event A]".
Adjust manually
Drag the slider to the middle β define the switch point. Example: "Halloween until 05.11.2026, then Advent/Christmas".
Skip event
Special case with full containment: drag the slider all the way to one endpoint β the other event is skipped entirely during the overlap period for these products.
